This is kind of gross, and I apologize if I offend anyone, but does anyone know if diarrhea and then constipation are possibly pregnancy symptoms. I'm at 9 dpo, and wondered if anyone else has ever heard or experienced this???

Hi, I know for sure that constipation is a sign of PG, not sure about the other though.

I have never been pg before so I can't tell you based on experience but if you read the post at the very top of the message board that the moderator posted it gives a whole list of possible pg signs/symtoms. Good Luck and Baby Dust!

Before I was expecting AF to come I had a terrible bout of diarrhoea it was after dinner and my husband didn't experience it so put it down to a possible pg symptom and not what I had just eaten. It wasn't long after that (perhaps a week or so) that I became bunged up with constipation :confused:
This may be an indicator for you... my other symptom at that time was cramping in my abdomen like AF was on her way but she never came.

Thanks for those who responded..... I too thought maybe it was something I ate, but my husband and I ate the same thing on the first day the diarrhea came, and he didn't have anything wrong with him. I'm also still experiencing both diarrhea and constipation......and it's been 6 days now. I also do have some mild cramps periodically. I've been pregnant before, but my son is now 9, so I can't remember experiencing this. Constipation definitely, was a major indicator back then. This is not like me to have something like this so long. I also have soar breasts, and veins that are really blue by the nipples. I can't test for pregnancy until Sunday, 8/28, that would be about 4 days before AF, but I really want to wait until 8/31, which is when AF is supposed to be here. I'm usually always so impatient and test at the earliest possible time, but I remember from when I finally did conceive my son 9 years ago, I waited until I was actually late, and then bypassed even the HPT, and went straight for a blood test. I know it's silly, but I felt that because I waited, I became blessed with my son. Weird...I know.....
