Hi all...
I was finally DX'd with Fibro...but my doc didn't seem too interested or concerned about the other meds that I'm on - whether Soman will interract with them or not... It'd be great if someone could help me out, or give me some of their personal experience:
I'm on xanax & cymbalta & resiperdal - daily
I'm on maxalt for migraines - well not, on it but that is what i take for the pain.
I'm on cranberry pills for prevention of UTI's
I'm on lose dose antibiotic for acne...
Can I take Soma with all of that??!!??
ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATE THANKS!!!

BTW, I'm sorry for my mispellings... I have insomnia, haha, and so I haven't been to sleep in almost a week... therefore, it takes a lot of effort to type and think straight.
Thank you in advance for any help I really need some advice I'm afraid that I'm on too many meds to begin with....

hello amby, i have taken soma on and off for about 5yrs now and as far as i know you should be fine with the other meds you are taking. try and use caution if you take it during the day because it may make you goofy for about 20min, and also a bit drowsy. the best thing to do is to try and take it at night before you go to bed. it should help you fall asleep nicely.

Oh OK, great... Thank you very much for the info! How long does it have an affect or does it last? And I do not drink alcohol very often at all but if I wanted to, can I drink while on it?

i would not drink while taking soma. i have before and it was a little crazy. it is intensified even more. goodluck.

I was also just prescribed Soma. I have found that it does nothing for me except nauseate my stomach.

Hi Amby,
I have been on it for 2 weeks, 325 mg 2x per day. It was prescribed for muscle spasms which I still have. My daughter took it for a car accident and it put her to sleep. I was hoping that it would do that for me ....but the good old insomnia seems to overrule most meds.
