First and utmost, let me say how much I appreciate all of your kind support here. You all have been so kind and so very helpful.

With a family history (Aunts and Uncles) with T2 and my weight problem, I have been considered at risk.

I had an A1C test on Tuesday and got the results from my Doc this morning and it was 5.2..... I was thrilled too death to hear it was at a non-diabetic range, but was reminded to eat healthy, exercise and loose some pounds! Also...the Doctor is going to continue to check it (do the A1C test) 2x a year.

Thanks again for always being there for me. My husband is a T2 on meds, he is doing so well and it's wonderful to have a place like this to come to for advice and information!

That's great! You don't need to worry about it now, but it is a good idea to check it every so often.

Awesome! Make sure when you test every so often you do a 2 hr ppg. This will show a problem WAY sooner than a fasting! Good Health.
