some1 please help me I am 19 years old and I am a nervous wreck. It all started a month ago I felt this really fast twitch in my arm by my tricep. I didnt think anything of it until I checked on the net and all this stuff for als came up it freaked me out. I now can feel twitching all over my body, and my body aches all over joints and muscles. Any time something touches me I jump. Now today my face feels like its numb. I had gotten an mri done dont know how good that is, but im a nervous wreck. I am too young to be feeling like this .

Hi, Sorry you are feeling this way, First of twitching isn't usually a first sign of als, weakness, tripping stumbling, slurred speech are usually the first thing people with als notice.

Numbness is also not a typical symptom of als, I would suggest you see your Dr for a thorough examination.

Your symptoms could be down to anything, stress, anxieties, work outs etc...

good luck
