Need to know info.....on colon cancer.............about 2-3 yrs ago my friend was diagnoised with colon cancer..........when I first meet him he weighed 240 lbs. now he weighs 190 or so............he is now 83 years if age.........He also has congestive heart failure..............How long can a person last with all this going on...........What are the symptoms...........Kathryn at khut47@yahoo.com

Well that depends on a lot of factors;
how advanced the cancer is at diagnoses
what treatments are being used
his general health before diagnoses

At 83 it would have to be determined what his chances are of surviving surgery or chemo and how to best improve quality of life.

Sorry I don't have info on how long an untreated colon cancer takes to claim the patient.
