I ordered the cutest walking stick from this guy online! Its wood and has an old man face carved into it... I love it! It just came in the mail! I named him Larry! haha I am going on a cruise to Bermuda in 9 days and was not looking forward to it. I had decided to just stay on the ship and relax but with the help of this stick I think I will be able to get off and explore the island! Im excited :p ... just wanted to share! Hope everyone is well... take care!

Cool news regarding your walking stick. If you need a walking aid, at least make it an awesome one.
In 1999 I shattered my ankle and after wearing a cast for 3 months I was scheduled for a vacation in the Bahamas. While being pushed around in a wheelchair we went to an open air market by the side of the road and the man had walking sticks. But, they were at least 5 ft. long! I bought one anyway and hubby cut about 1.5 ft. or so to make it the correct length for me....I'm short. Mine also has a man's face on the front but it also has all types of flowers, zig-zags and such carved into it. After using it for over a year while recouperating from my ankle it was pretty well beat up, but I kept it because it was so cool.
2.5 weeks ago, I fractured my foot, so that cane is back in use. Even with all the dings and dents, I still get compliments on my walking stick.
Glad to hear that someone else is able to find something awesome about a walking aid. :)
