This is my first month on bc pills and i am taking yasmin. saturday is my last days of taking the orange pills and then i am going on the white ones which is when i should get my period.

my questions are: if i get my period do i start taking my orange pills the sunday after my period?

wonder if i get my period the first day of taking the white pills and its gone before i take the sunday pill do i keep taking the white pills til that sunday?

i'ms o confused. my doctor just gave me samples of yasmin and didnt explain anything to me. i'm so confused


You need to take 1 tablet everyday regardless of when you get your period. This should all be explained in the package insert that came with your pills. When you finish this pack, start a new pack the following day. Do not take a break in taking the pills, and do not skip around your current pack. It's 1 pill everyday until every pill is gone, then you start your next pack.
