Which type of protein supp is best for taking before bed? I've been taking whey with some fat (flax) but I know this still gets absorbed far too quickly and need someting that works over a longer period. I've heard that Calcium Caseinate is good for this but I'm not entirely sure how effective it is. Has anyone used it or know more about it? I know some bb's just get up during the night and have another whey drink but I'm of the opinion that the sleep is more important for growth so I'd rather not. Any ideas?

a casein and egg mixture is very effective, and it doesnt have to be from a supplement, ie dairy products are a great source of casein

Thanks for the reply. I've already started taking the caseinate and it seems to be woking ok. Only time will tell though I suppose. I'd use dairy products but I'm on a cut at the moment so I don't really want to be consuming high amounts of carbs before bed.
