For a week now I have had pressure in my temples, behind my nose and a bit around my right eye. A week ago I woke up with a blind spot in my right eye. I then started seeing a "white bird flapping it's wings quickly". By Monday the bird was gone but my vision is still "not right". It is like I am seeing better than I should. I am extremely nearsighted. I have had my pupils dilated and they appear to be fine and the pressure is fine. I had an MRI and am seeing a Retina Specialist on Monday. I was just wondering if anybody has anything similiar to this? I feel that it is all related to my sinuses but I am more concerned about the vision. Will it ever go back to "normal". Thanks for listening.

What did you brain MRI report say? You really need to ask a competent neurologist (or you can look your self if you are observant) at the MRI film and look for a "hemangioma", most radiologists ignore them, they are usually small benign tumors of vascular origin around the eyes. This is only 1 possibility, not a definate. I don't think it's stress or depression though, dont buy into that one.

I haven't heard anything back from the MRI. I go to a retina specialist tomorrow and hopefully he will give me the results. He didn't order them my primary dr did but I had the results sent to the specialist as well. If it is the tumors you were referring to, then hopefully this specialist will see that. Thanks for the post
