Before I start, I just want to say...that no matter what...I CANNOT go to a doctor...or tell my parents. So please dont suggest so. Thanks.
Ok...here we go, probably going to be a long one...maybe not though. haha.
About a month ago, I got together with my ex. I had sex with her after she made me believe she was a virgin. Well, Now I think im paying. She left about a day after we did this. And now Im seeing symptoms of what I think MIGHT be genital warts...Actually, Im almost positive. I've seen pictures of this in the worse conditions, and I really don't want that. The onyl catch is, my parents think im a virgin and a doctor would charge out of the ***. How can I be sure that I have Genital warts...and How can I treat them? (Home remedy type things).
Thanks, please help!!!

before everbody starts wrecking on you for "home remedys" let me be the first to tell you and foremost from personal experiences, that THEONLYWAY to be TREATED is with MEDICATION, and it just so happens the only way you can get medication is with a DIAGNOSIS. and the only person that can diagnos you, happens to be a doctor, your health is worth a trip to the doctors bro. i know its hard telling your parents, but as you probably already well know from research, warts stays with you for the rest of your life. and can be harmfull to your health if you let it go untreated, so man up. you need to go get tested. trust me youll thank yourself later. it sucks how one horny mistake can put your a-ss check in such a cruel way. im sorry you had to learn the hard way.

How about a free clinic? Check the phone book, make some phone calls.
You have to get medical treatment for them - if that's what you have. They won't go away on their own. Well, they might, but it usually takes an average of 2 years for the virus to leave your body on its own.

Unfortunately, you MUST go to the doctor. There are no home remedies for genital warts, all the ones you see advertised on-line are just scams. Also, you do not know for sure that these are warts, it could be something else.
I understand that you can't talk to your parents about this, but what about going to Planned Parenthood or to a sexual health clinic (contact your local health department to see if there is one in your area)? Both are completely confidential and the fees are quite low. You can look them both up in the phone book or on-line.
Good luck.

Genital warts generally take a while to show up and to grow to visible size. You don't say if you were a virgin or not. If you were, these might not be warts. If you were not, then maybe you got it from another girl. I am not sure why you say the girl was not a virgin - a guy can't tell.
Still, if you believe you are mature enough to be having sex, why are not mature enough to deal with this potential problem in a mature way?

Listen to Thisby! Everyone is correct about the medications, the diagnosis, and the need for a physician to both make the diagnosis and to prescribe the medications. However, you may need (and obviously should) go to your local Health Department which will have a department to help you with STDs. Most of the time, you don't need to provide your name or, if you do, they will give a code there after (like a pin number) by which you can be treated. But, don't start treating them yourself and any "home remedy" may or may not be the answer to your prayers and it may, possibly, lead to even bigger problems. GO TO THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT!!!

There are different mature ways of handling things. First of all, if I told my parents; they couldnt make them go away anyway; theyre not magicians...
Other responses:
Thanks a bunch...Maybe Ill try the free clinic. Are warts generally "hard" when you can get a hold on them?

You can be a virgin but still get genital warts. All it takes is skin to skin contact.

you don't even need to tell your parents, just get to the doctor. the doctor has to protect your right to privacy.........what happens at the doctor's, stays at the doctor's

Who is "we?" And what difference does it make if the girl you were with was a virgin or not? There is no way to tell if a girl you are with is a virgin. Some women bleed their first time, some don't.
The only way to possibly know would be what she TELLS you. And if you don't believe what she says, maybe the two of you shouldn't be hooking up in the first place.
Good luck.
