This is definitely one of the best articles I have read. It makes perfect sense. In my opinion this is the most logical theory around.

Interesting. Parents with autistic children have been saying for a while that the reason more boys have it is because the testosterone exacerbates it. Female hormones protect against it. But if it's all genetic, then why such a huge increase? Anyone who says there is no increase has never spoken to a special ed teacher. They've seen huge increases over the past 10 years. A neurologist mentioned that he has seen a huge increase in the number of children with autism, ADHD and learning disorders. He was wondering why no one is trying to find out why.

I Am Surprised You Have Not Read The "vaccined And No Autism" Thread.
Anyone Wonder Why There Is Vertually No Autism In The Amish Community. In Their Communitites Of A 1000, You Should Expect To Find 50-100 Autistic Children, But You Don't. (they Eat What They Grow Which Is Without Pesticides. Hormones, Antibiotics, Etc... And Don't Get Vaccinated (which Up until Recently Has Had Mercury (That Is A Preservative)Taken Out Of Them Without Any Response As To Why It Was Done). Also Isn't It Interesting That Autism #'s Are Now Starting Level Off If Not Drop.
Some People Say That There Is No Relationship Because The Vaccines That Were Made Without Mercury Were Made Well Before The Number Of People With Autism Started To Drop, Well If The Offices That Were Still Giving The Vaccines With The Mercury In Them Just Recently Ran Out because stockpiles were kept and Because They Weren't Told Of Any Recall (because There Is No Recall), and it's interresting that the #'s of Autistic are dropping.
Still Do People Think There Is No Relationship?

Read the article Heather, it has much more reasoning than the vaccine theory. The vaccine theory is popular but not many people can actually give a decent amount of logical reasonings behind the vaccine theory.

So it's ok to post newspaper articles? Cool. :) Not sure what's ok and what's not. Anyway, have you read "Evidenceof Harm" yet? Or "Tobacco Science and the Thimerosal Scandal" by RFK jr? http://www.robertfkennedyjr.com/docs/AutismHgPolitics_6_23.pdf
I highly recommend them to anyone who thinks there's no evidence thimerosal is responsible for many cases of autism.
