OK. Here's a quick low-down, and I apologize for not knowing all of the proper TTC posting etiquette......
My first day of my last period was Aug. 18th, which was the same week I stopped taking the pill. Anyway, I have been taking my BBT, which has been hovering around 97.5 degrees. I decided that I wasn't going to mess around, so I just bought an OPK, which today has shown a faint line in the testing area, not a dark line, but definitely noticetable. Also, I wasn't even going to attempt the CM test, but I couldn't help but notice it yesterday and today. It is a clear, sticky film.
Hearing this, would you think that this is the day, even though my 1st day of my last AF was only 10 days ago??? I can't even predict my CD's now, since I literally just got off the pill. Some years ago, before the pill, it was about 30 days.
What do you guys think? Any info is greatly appreciated!!

Well I have been off the pill for about 3 months now and decided to try taking my temp and doing the OPK thing. I got a faint line also, but mine said if it didn't MATCH the surge line, then I wasn't ovulating. It would seem like I am not ovulating at all this month. I did a pregnancy test and it was a BFN :(

I don't want to discourage you, just don't want your expectations raised this early on. It can take a while for your body to get into a regular cycle again after being on the pill. The last time I came off for any amount of time was when I was trying for my daughter. I had a cycle that went from 31-33days and for the first three months, I had no period at all and thought for sure I must be preggers! I wasn't and the weight I had gained was just bloating etc.

This time around, I have gone straight into a 28 day cycle with some spotting about ten days before...

Personally, I would keep on with the testing and temperature taking and see what occurs. Fingers crossed for you!!

Thanx Queenie,
Yesterday, the OPK was faint. Today, it's darker than the control line so hopefully it works! I'm still taking the temps too. It was also 97.6 degrees today. But not to sound like an idiot, what is the thing with taking the temps? What am I suppose to notice with it?

From what I have read about and heard, your temperature will go up either in small steps or a big surge. When you hit the big surge it means you have already ovulated. Using charts each month will help to plot when ovulation occurs. Mine has been hovering at the same kind of degree the whole time this month (I only started charting this month).

When you get the two lines on your stick (depending on the brand of course), I think it's two days later you should ovulate and for the next two days, do the baby dance and get his little men waiting for the egg to come down! ;)

Hope this helps and good luck!!! *sprinkles some more borrowed baby dust*
