View Full Version : Why is everyone suffering and not having surgery?

I've noticed that everyone on here is extremely miserable....so if you don't mind me asking....why is no one having surgery to feel better? Is it because the nissen fundo doesn't work? Or is it because most docs are not doing the other treatments like the Stretta, EndoCinch, or Enteryx? Or maybe like me, because we are hoping a ppi will evertually work? I guess I don't understand?????

Nissan Fundiplication should only be considered when your life is been severally effected and other treatments aren't working IMO. These's many post operative risks and so it's not really a case of, a Nissen will fix you and you'll life happily ever after. Many do, but over 20% end up replacing one problem for another or have reflux back with a year or two!
