Just curious, for those who stopped your Avonex treatment, or any other, how long before you felt better.
I've slowly gotten where I feel worse and worse. I actually have gone from having weak muscles on day three after my Avonex shot, to almost all the time now.
I was absolutely convinced the Avonex was affecting me adversely, now I'm scared it may be the MS. Although, none of my original symptoms have, as of this hour, returned. Also, I just did a new MRI which showed no new activitiy.
PS - Anyone know what the difference is in MRI's with/without contrast?
Thanks to everyone here.

Hi. That's a good question. I took Avonex for four years. I was also participating in the trial for Tysabri during the last year and a half on Avonex. I've been on Copaxone now for a little over a year. I think I started feeling better a couple of months after stopping Avonex. I didn't know if I was feeling so badly because of the study, or because of the Avonex, but my neuro has told me that I was in the placebo group. Hope you feel better.
