Hello,
Hoping someone can help here. I have filled out a few of those online ovulation predictor things. Each one give me different fertile days  . I used an ovulation kit last time and I bough some more strips to use for next month. I hear there not a 100% but I'm giving them a go anyway.
My question is when is the best time to start dbing after af is over? No matter how many things I read up on. I still don't have all the answers about the whole ovulation thing. I don't think taking temps would help me, because I have a thyroid condition and my temp usually runs low. I tried checking my cervix and CM. I was sure I was pg this month. I had so many symptoms. So it was hard to tell if my cm was right or my cervix was prepreggo or preperiod. This time around I'm not going to read into any symptoms. That was so nail biting!
Baby dust to all

Hi FairyMagic,
I too feel totally confused about the whole ovulating/pg thing. Just from reading around, I think that you're suppose to estimate 2 weeks before the start of your AF. This is the time you ovulate. I guess that the best time to conceive is about 1-3 days before that. I think.
This is just my first month off of the pill so we're trying it. It was only 1 week of charting temps and I decided not to mess around. I just went ahead and bought the OPK. According to the OPK and the CM test, today is starting my fertile period, which would be right on time with what all of the schedules say. But since I am just 1 month off the pill, who knows if it'll work. I'll let you know.
Good luck with everything.

Thanks IBP! That's the kind of news I need to hear. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, along with doing the baby dance :-)

Hi FairyMagick...
My question is when is the best time to start dbing after af is over?
Ok, so if you know how long your cycle is and if you are reasonably regular then that is a bonus too... Say your cycle is 28 days long, then I personally think you would need to start bd'ing from day 12 through to day 16. If you want to be more conservative and increase the window of opportunity then you start earlier and end later (eg day 10 thru day 18). Remember af is day 1.
If you are regularly irregular (like me) then you'll have widen that window of opportunity to make it look more like a garage door!
Hope this helps?

Sherbet my period is usually on time but once in a while (like maybe 3 times a year) it will be a day or two early or late, does that make me irregular?
Good luck and baby dust to everyone :)
