i had my leep/laser procedure done a month ago. i'm nervous to jump right back into things with my boyfriend. can anyone offer any advice. does it hurt? i'm just a little nervous. is 4 weeks enough time to wait?

Its definitely not the same for a while so I really don't knwo how to describe it. I would say though depending on how long you have discharge you might not be able to have sex in three weeks. Everyone is different though. I had my leep in march and had painful sex up until about a few weeks ago...so now I am back to normal. Things definitely weren't right down there for a while. I believe I was able to have sex after three weeks but I may have waited until four weeks. SLJ16 09-09-2005, 02:41 PM i waited 5 weeks. it was ok. little tight and plus i was so nervous to see if i was going to feel any pain. but it was ok. i'm just praying for a clean pap coming up in Nov. tpagm 09-10-2005, 02:07 PM I too and waiting for a clear pap coming up in OCT. But I only had discharge for one week. So I'm hoping the procedure did what it was supposed to do for my mild abnormality. |
