or knowledge... can someone tell me what they think is going on here...

before being treated:
severe weakness in left leg, optic neuritis, numbness in both legs, some bladder dysfuntion

5 day solumedrol/ prednisone taper:
numbness was gone, weakness improved 75%, optic neuritis slight improvement

laid up for 4 days at the end of the prednisone taper (cause: LP):
weakness now only 25% improved from original state, optic neuritis same, blurred vision when on feet for too long, and some numbness showing up in stomach and legs when lying down

3 weeks since the LP and 1 1/2 weeks since starting Betaseron:
weakness still only 25% improved, optic neuritis has cleared, blurred vision when on feet for too long still, slight numbness from rib cage on left side down to my foot, still have bladder dysfuntion (urgency and problems voiding)

Ok I hope that breaks it down for everyone... but does anyone know what could be going on inside my body? The symptoms seem to be going away and showing up again in this short period of time. And what really throws me for a loop is there were no significant lesions in my brain or spinal cord to be affecting me this way. I do think it is MS... but does anyone have any input as to why I am just not getting better yet? I know its a long process but I thought it would be here then go away, and then come back a few months/ years later. Not all within a month like this.
