Hi all

I have only been coming here lately on occasion, since my migraines have increased in frequency. I had read somewhere that a deficiency in magnesium may be related, and so, I used magnesium twice last week. Not a magic bullet, but I woke up the next day feeling great, no more headache, no headache hangover too. This mostly affects the right side of my head, which in retrospect always felt not quite right, whether I was in a full blown episode or not. I no longer have this sensation either. I intend to take magnesium regularly now, and see if that doesn't curtail them from occurring. We'll see.

By sheer coincidence, my mother who faithfully watches ABC Good Morning America told me she saw them talking about some natural remedies for migraines, magnesium being one of them. I was able to find information on their web site, if anyone's interested. Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) is also listed. I was thinking of beefing up my B vitamins anyway - just haven't figured out which product to buy yet. Lots of other things listed there too.

Anyway, anyone else have success with natural remedies?

Along with my migraine meds I take daily 100mgs of Vit B2.

I also watch what I eat as certain foods trigger my migraines.

Also *weather* is a migraine trigger for me.

I keep a migraine diary which helps w/the above.
