What do you mean by 'what would happen"? It really depends on what you ate and how much you ate of it. Likely you would lose a little weight, mainly water weight. You would be fairly hungry and your energy would be all over the place- jumping really high after eating but crashing fairly quickly after (due to the sugar in fruits). You'd get plenty of vitamins, which is good, but you'd also be deficient in several nutrients that you need to get from other food sources like veggies or protein or fat.

Hmm, eating nothing but fruit would likely result in a nasty stomach ache.

Fruits do not contain much protein, so the deficiency of protein for a two week period would probably lead to loss of some muscle.

Also, most fruits do not contain a wide range of nutrients, the way vegetables do. They have a few nutrients in relatively high quantities. So, you would be missing out on many nutrients also.

A day to two of all fruits can give the digestive track a nice break. Also fruits help clean out any impurities you might have built up, so your skin will probably look great. But IMHO, going beyond a couple of days has more potential minuses than pluses.

camille,

An all fruit diet will eventually kill you. For two weeks you'll probably lose a couple pounds of muscle and organs, and you'll be extremely moody because your blood glucose will keep cycling up and down from an all-sugar diet. You will suffer pretty sever diarrhea.
There are no plusses to this diet.

AND it will be dreadfully expensive unless you own orchards.:D:D
