im not on yasmin, but im wondering something about the drospirinone in it. i read that it can increase potassium levels in your body. and it is also a diuretic.
now, my question is this: if you have blood pressure that is borderline high, but not high enough to be controlled with medication, but controlled only by diet and exercise, would this pill be ideal? ive been told that water pills (i.e., diuretics) can be used for hypertension... Ive also read that foods high in potassium are ideal for people with high blood pressure (like, orange juice).
so has anyone on yasmin notice that their blood pressure was lowered? or has anyone else thought about this with yasmin?
