Ok, the reason i went onDiane was to really clear up my acne, which is exactly what it's doing. I wanted to know if there was anyone else out there whos tried itand what side effects they noticed? Bascially I have noticed crazy mood swings, breasts got a bit bigger and low low low libido :( If I change pills....will my cup size decrease because Idon't mind them this size!lol!

Hey well I’m on Diane for the moment as its continually changing to aid in my endometriosis/ibs symptoms, My mum was one Diane for yearrrrrs and my gyno was telling me all good stuff about it and when I got my second round the other day I was talking to the pharmacist about my worries. And he informed me that Diane is so expensive cos its the pill that causes the least side effects (weight gain and nausea) and works at eliminating them all and specialises in prevention/controlling of acne and body hair growth!! At the start of taking it I felt really bad but I figured that’s cos I was swapping pills and skipped my monthly for the first time in 6 and a half years and my body was just reacting to that I guess. I’ve never felt better!! I mean I still get the regular pain at that time of the month but other than that I’ve been pleased I feel pretty much normal, no more mood swings and borderline depression/suicide from microgynon and random crying; and yeah I noticed on both of my pills I’ve been with I have had a increase in size of breasts however I believe that’s due to the amount of hormones packed into the pill. I’m not sure what would happened if you stop. Side effects are normal for the first couple of months while your body adjusts to the change you are making and the workings of the hormones in the pill. However i suggest you wait a few cycles til you decide wether to change or not as it takes about 3 to 4 to take full effect with your body and sidies etc.

You can't just pick and choose what side effects you want to keep. Every pill has the exact same side effects, and there is no way to know how your body is going to react to each. You'll just have to try a pill and see what happens.
