 Hiya, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this.
For the last couple of nights when I go to bed, within five minutes of laying down, I get this annoying and painful pressure headache that just will not go away whilest laying there trying to sleep, and yet does when I sit/stand up! It's the strangest thing and very worrisome as well. =\
It's happened before, a couple months ago, it only lasted for about a week, then went away on its own. I'm hoping it will again. But I'm just wondering *what* could possibly be causing the recumbent headaches.
My vision has been a little funny lately as well. I've been getting a lot of twinkles, and larger blind spots. @_@
I also suffer from Migraines, but only about two a year (THANK GOD!!).
I have a lot of health problems (pcos, hs, depression, anxiety) and am a widely known hypochondriac so i'm really reluctant to mention it to my doctor because it feels like I'm forever pestering him with something else wrong with me, but should I mention it to him?

Hypochondriacs are usually *not* sick. They just *think* they are.
Therefore, I suggest that you see your doctor & mention your headaches. Make sure to detail all your symptoms no matter how minor.
-------------------
Hypochondria - A person with hypochondria is preoccupied with physical health and body. The diagnosis is used when a person during at least 6 months believes, fears or is convinced that he has a serious disease despite medical reassurance. This fear of disease or preoccupation with symptoms is unpleasant, interferes with the patient's daily life in a negative way and leads to medical examinations and/or treatment. The patient can only temporarily accept assurance that there is no physical explanation to his symptoms.

Hello, I also have headaches only when laying down and they go away after I get up. I am otherwise in good health. My insurance does not kick in for another month, so I must wait, what have you found out? I just would love a good night sleep!

Is the headache mainly in your forehead? Could it be sinuses. Because I have a sinus infection, and when I lay down I feel like somebody's taking a hammer to my head.. mainly my forehead.. my temples.
