This is my first month on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo and the fifth day taking placebos, but I still haven't started my period. I've had two kids and think I know my body well enough that I don't think I'm pregnant. My husband has had a vasectomy and I take the pill to regulate my cycle. Before kids I took Necon 1/35 (generic for Ortho Novum) and always had a five day period starting the second day of placebos.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I have had this problem before on this pill. It usually rights itself and I usually get my period either on the placebos or right after them. Although I do not take them anymore since this birth control failed for me and I am not 23 weeks pregnant. I wouldn't worry to much about it since it is your first month of taking them, your body will regulate itself soon enough.
