I worry about the same thing... at 55 doctor wants me take Fosamax.
( s-2.5, h-1.5)

What if i will take it for many years, and then have to stop for some unforeseen reason, what usually happens?
Will the improved bone density numbers stay good for years to come ?
Can it be maintained with exercise and calcium intake?

I worry about taking too many meds, who knows if i can afford it when i get older.
