I'm just curious, I'm on generic ortho tri-cyclen (tri-sprintec). I am very careful to prevent pregnancy--aside from carefully taking the pill within the same hour every day, my bf and I use condoms each time we have sex. Aside from doing this to be extra careful, I also do it because I'm overweight and know that pill failure is slightly higher for me because of that.

My question is, is there a time within the four-weeks of pills that you are least likely to "accidentally" get pregnant? I mean, I know it's unlikely. But, if one was to ovulate anyway...is there a time in the month that the chances of this are lowest? Like, right before your period for example? Or is it pretty much something that could happen at any time? My bf and I are totally committed to each other, and will be getting married, no fear of std's. We are interested in ditching the condom, at least once in awhile. I'm curious if there would be a "best" time of the month to do it.

You are equally protected all month long.
