Hi ladies! Can someone maybe help put me out of my misery please?
I was taking my temperature and doing the OPK strips. I ran out of those after my "supposed" ovulation day came and went and figured I just didn't ovulate this month. I still kept taking my temperature anyway and am even more confused now than before.
Okay, I realise I am supposed to take it when I first wake up etc, but if the urge to baby dance comes along, obviously, the temp comes a bit later when I have calmed down LOL I have ignored any readings on those days as they are still higher than normal despite a rest period.
Well looking at my results now for the past 13 days, it would appear that my temp was as follows:
9 97.2
10 98.7
11 97.2
12 98.1
13 97.5
14 97.3
15 97.5
16 97.5
17 97.3
18 97.9
19 97.5
20 97.2
21 97.8
22 97.7
I used the test strips from CD 10-16 inclusive and only got a very faint line on them. IE It didn't match the surge line in depth of color.
Now would you say that CD 10 or CD 18 was the day after I ovulated (it goes up AFTER the fact right) or was today (CD 22 ) the day afterwards? Ignore CD 12 & CD 21's results due to quick early morning dance sessions. Sorry if this is TMI. I just want to get it right in my head etc.
I don't get paid until the end of the week, so cannot get anymore test strips just yet. I have been getting some cramping, tender boobs, going to the bathroom more, bloating, felt a bit sick one morning and generally felt all motherly and suchlike. I decided I should do a test allbeit way too early as I was going nutso. I did a test on CD18 and got a BFN.
Can someone, anyone please help me figure this mess out?? Thanks in advance!

How long are your cycles? Looking at the info. you gave I would say you o'd at day 17 or day 20...my bbt instructions say that you o the day of your lowest temp. and that you should have 3 high temps following it that confirm that it took place! Hope that helps, good luck! ***BABY DUST***

They have been 28 days with spotting around ten days prior to that. I have had no spotting as yet this month, and my temp was still hig this morning! Fingers crossed...thanx hun.

I've been charting my temp since the end of March and the instructions I got with my BBT said that ovulation would be signaled when your temp spikes above 98 degrees and then stays above 98 until you start your period. I've also been doing the OPK almost continually and although I've never had one that was positive (both lines equal), there have been two times since I started the charting that my temp went above 98 and stayed there until I started my period (just like the directions said) and the day after I started it dropped back to 97 something. So I assume that I must have ovulated during at least those two times.

My temp is high for the 4th day in a row, my usual spotting hasn't appeared and I have been getting some cramps/twinges too. Myabe I am just hoping for too much too soon, but I feel good about this. I hope it comes to something cause even though I am trying not to, I am getting excited that I may just be getting a BFP next week!
