Here's my story:
Last week, I had a filling on the right side of my mouth repaired. The dentist used a drill. Starting right after that, I began noticing a "clicking" feeling in my right ear drum, particularly when I chewed (I feel it now as a I chew a piece of gum). Then, yesterday, I noticed that the right side of my head immediately above my ear felt like it had been bruised. I don't have a headache, but if I touch that part of my head with my fingers, it feels slightly sore (and there's no corresponding soreness on the left side). I can't remember getting hit there or falling - although my two-year old may have hit me there with a toy - which could explain it. Any ideas what could be going on? Is this all connected to the dental work, or could something else be at play?
Thanks.

Could you call your dentist and ask?

I'm thinking it's TMJ - this can be caused by gum chewing (which I do a lot of) and by chewing crunchy food -another habit.

That makes sense...hope you can find something you like besides gum! Good luck.
