I finally contacted my new neurologist. He had reread my brain MRI, and ordered an MRI of my spine, plus he ordered a bunch of blood work. He says that my spine MRI looks totally clean, as does my blood work. He did, however, reread the MRI of the brain, and he agrees that I have “numerous leasions” in the white matter. When I asked him how many, he just said, “too many to count.” When I asked him if I have MS, his answer was “I don’t know.” I am starting to think that he doesn’t know as much about MS as I need him to know. He asked me to schedule a follow-up visit. Sigh. Any advice? Should I get yet another neurologist to look at my tests?
