Hi
I had a Hyst on may 9th..eveything removed but my cervix.

Been feeling great !!! I still get very exhausted.
My main question is that all of a sudden in my insicion area it has gotten very tender to the touch. When my husband and I have had intercoarse I had a pinching or pulling type feeling in that area. It doesnt feel like it is inside where my uterus was more like outside?? Does that sound familure to anyone?? This has happened to me twice. The tenderness to the touch has been there for about 2 weeks.
I do have an appointment with my doc on Sept 12 th. He said it should be nothing, but just wants to check to make sure eveything is healing properly.
Has this happened to anyone??
Thanks

Hi

Glad to hear you are feeling so good after your op. I had mine about a week before yours and like you I am feeling so much better without all that pain from the endo.

My incision is still kind of tender but kind of numb too. Sometimes the tenderness turns to like a "pin-pricking" pain sensation particularly at the ends of the scar. I take this as a warning that I have probably lifted something I shouldnt have or it sometimes happens if I have been doing a lot of driving and sitting in the same position for too long.

Good to hear you are getting it checked out though.

good luck

Hi KTee
Glad to here your not in anymore pain too !! Isn't it wonderful!!
I thought that maybe I overdid something to...but I don't think so. I havent done anything that I don't normaly do. I guess it just takes time.
I will no more on the 12th.
I too also have the numbness too. I now that my doc said it could last a couple of months to even a couple of years or may never have feeling there again. It depends on the person. I don't mind that at all, I could live with that after what I have been through. I am sure you would agree with that !!

glad to hear you a feeling a little better. I had one done in jan l998. I still have the same numbness feeling off and on and it is still tender to touch sometimes. doctor told me that i may feel like that forever. Sometimes the feelings are there but over the years it seems like i have those numbeness and tender feelings less often. Hope this helps.
