Not sure if this should be in the Vitamins board, or here....but

I drink one glass of OJ every day. And I also eat alot of broccoli almost everyday at dinner. Usually raw to get the most nutrients.

Is this too much vitamin C? I know it's over 100 percent...and I've heard it's dangerous to get too much.

SaintAngerBH,

The last time I checked, the recommended minimum daily amount of Vitamin C was about 60 milligrams (mg). You might be getting 2-3 times the recommended dose with your fruits and veggies. This is very healthy and you are to be congratulated! When they talk about "dangerous in large amounts" they mean several grams (a gram is 1000 milligrams). I take 1 gram a day in pure ascorbic acid form in addition to fruits and veggies (and I love brocolli!). You're nowhere near overdoing it.
