I started my pill pack one day late and althought i knew i had to use backup for 7 days, i had unprotected sex on day 6 (Friday) of my new pack. I take my pills ontime every night and havent missed any since, so I assume my chances of pregnancy are still low, but i cant stop worrying about it. I understamd that the pill can also prevent implantation if fertilization has already occured.

Two days after the incident (on Sunday), i started to get small pain on my lower abdomen on my left side. These were very similar to the ovulation pains i used to get before i started using the pill. Two days after that (Tuesday), i started spotting, it was light at first, then it got darker and thicker. Last night (Thursday ngiht) i had some cramping and some drowsiness, it felt like i had my period even tho its due in 2 more weeks.

a. could i have ovulated?

b. should i count this as a period?

c. could this be implantation bleeding or miscarriage?
