Hello -

My sister's class is having cake and ice cream today for her birthday. I am supplying the cake, etc. but there are several people in this class who are diabetic. I certainly don't want to leave them out and was wondering if anyone had any good advice or suggestions on what to get for them.

Thanks,
Lisa

Thank you for replying. I ended up getting sugar free Cranbury and Orange "cake" slices with sugar free vanilla ice cream to go with it but your suggestions sound way more yummy. :)

Even though the party is over, I have started to educate myself about this disease so that I don't find myself in this situation again or even worse, give someone the wrong kind of food causing them to become ill. That's a scary thought.

Thanks again for replying.

Lisa
