well i started bleeding light on tuesday night an early wednesday morning i got my period. it wasnt as heavy as normal but i had the worst cramps all day. well today i woke up and my period is even heavier and i still have my cramps.

is it normal for your period to get heavier on the second day? is this because its my first month on the pill?

It sounds normal. It can take several cycles for your periods to lighten and become shorter.
