I have had an apparently very resistant strain of trichomoniasis and finally found that taking tindamax(500mg) twice daily for 7 days finally cured it. Question is how resistant would it be in my partner? He took the same treatment, I was given a clean bill of health and 2 months later it has returned.
Is it that resistant to treatment or is he being unfaithful???
How hard is this thing to get cured?

Just from talking to my doctor lately about the case that I have.. He said that a the chances of a false negative are almost non existant. Was your partner also given a clean bill of health? He may not have been cured & reinfected you? Id imagine the best thing to do is seek treatment again & then both of you get retested a few weeks after finishing treatment.
I have to go back next week after taking zithromax but I dont think it cured my case, still showing mild symptoms... As my posts on the board said. Im trying to find out if its still possible to show symptoms soon after treatment or should they totally disappear.....
