I was wondering if anyone knows any good tasting homemade shakes that I can make for pbreakfast? I need a quick shake for my protein diet. Thanks

I am also thinking about taking whey protein supplements but I don't want to pay that much. I work out three times a day( weights, track and a basektball workout). I have been trying to eat 5,6,or 7 times a day. But I need a quick meal/shake that I can make and drink before scholl or after scholl(between weights and Track). i've heard of shakes with peanut butter, eggs, and tuna but never found a good recipe that tastse good enough to not puke. thanks.

Hey, I'm on a liquid diet and live on protein shakes. I love using skim milk, protein powder, a banana and strawberries with a piece of canned pear to add sweetness....I of course also add wheat germ for the fiber, vit. E and folic acid. A great thickener for a quickie shake is to put a yogurt in the shake. It adds sweetness and more protein as well!

One that is also good, which is almost like a dessert to me is the same as the above, except no strawberries and add chocolate Ovaltine...has great minerals, no fat and tastes great!

Hope this helped!
