My son will be 17 in 2 months. His GP just ran a blood panel which showed his testosterone level was low. (I think it was 140) He is growing. He is 6 feet tall. (His father and family are all 6' 3" and taller) But, he is not developing... he has little to no body hair, she says he still hasn't hit his growth spurt, no voice change yet, etc...
What are the causes of low testosterone in a teen boy. What should we do? Where can we get additional info. Can the time of day of the test or what you eat have any bearing on the results. Also, he does have asthma and he had just had a breathing treatment...could that make a difference?
His dr. is going to repeat the blood test in another month.
Any info would be appreciated!
