It is something like colorblindness. Mom may not be colorblind but she can pass it on to her children because she carries a dormant form of the gene. Mom may not have thinning hair (unlikly that she would I suppose), but if her father gave her a dormant form of the gene, she may pass it on, then the gene will become expresses in her male offspring. tchocky 09-30-2005, 01:32 AM yah my moms father has early hair loss, thanks mom! |
