Hey
I thought I'd post my symptoms here, on the off chance that someone might be able to help. I'm not sure where else to turn, these days.
What I've got could be headache/migraine, or could be something else. I just don't know what else it could be.
The main symptom is pain in the left eye. It's a kind of dull, aching pain, that usually feels fairly close to the surface of the eye itself. The pain usually lasts a long time, and comes and goes slowly, rather than suddenly. It'll usually stay for at least a few days, and very often longer than that.
I also have a feeling of tension in the muscles on the left-hand side of my face - most strongly around the eye itself, but stretching down to around the jaw as well.
On top of that, the left eyelid droops, drooping more or less exactly in accordance with how much pain there is. The pain's more annoying than debilitating, but it's so distracting that it interferes with almost everything I do.
I first had this problem 3 years ago, and it stayed, most days, for nearly a year after that. Since then it's been on-and-off, but hasn't fully disappeared. I still don't really know what's causing it.
Incidentally, I'm 18, and otherwise healthy. I know the problem isn't the eye itself, since I had it all checked by an opthahlmologist in May for an unrealted issue.
Any help would be most appreciated.
