i had oral sex with a girl a year and a half ago and after that i heard a rumor that she a herpes, a rumor. well i dont have ne signs of them but i get white heads in the pubic region not muptiple, 1 maybe 2 whiteheads sometimes and i can pop them and have puss come out, but i need to make sure that i dont have herpes. and their not on my penis. is this ne thing i need to know. and can it lay dormant for a yr. and a half. please write back.

Yes Herpes can lay dormant for years in some people! Are you having any other symptoms? Herpes can appear any where on the body and be spread from one part to another! I would advise you not to pop those so called whiteheads and go to the doctor next time they appear so that the doctor can do a culture on them!

It is possible, though pretty rare, for herpes to remain dormant for 1 1/2 years after the first exposure. But the symptoms you describe do not sound anything like herpes. If you are worried, have your doctor check out these bumps the next time they show up.
