Good morning, it's just me again. I was wondering about something. I am taking metformin 2x a day. I take it with breakfast in the a.m., usually 7:30-8:00 am. I take one with my supper which is betwenn 5:00 and 5:30. pm. Should the doses by more exactly apart. Should I take the supper one instead with a small snack about 7:30 or 8:00 pm. Would that give me better control? My numbers in the morning are still too high. The supper numbers however are much better. Thanks for all of your help and advice! ;)

You may want to put them at 12 hrs but also try a bedtime snack of some cheese or apple slices or something healthy but not full of bad carbs. This may stop your liver from producing extra glucose in the middle of the night and may help those high morning blood sugars.
