can a blood test be altered by the length of time it takes to draw blood?
Basically my problem started at thyroid 14 years ago and it seems to be under control again BUT I now have a b12 level @ 115 with a norm of 132 to 800 but all other tests are ok my bp is low and my hr is low.....the dr did an ekg and a new blood test for b12 and folic acid after being on b12 pills to see where we are at.....the problem is severe head aches and mild chest pain and fainting I don't understand this at all he was not able to detect my hr today and had trouble with the bp I am on 125 levo and he has me on 10 amitriptyline and the b12 pills I am also having trouble sleeping thats why i am on the amitrip the only other thing is my feet feel like dead weight and my heads always fall asleep......please someone tell me what is affecting what here or give me an idea of what I am in for ease my mind some one
