I started the Estrace cream two weeks ago. First week had to use 2 grams a day. Now on 1 gram 3 times a week. Now I am getting these awful leg pains, more in the knee area on down to the calf area of my legs.

Has anyone had this problem with estrogen replacement? It is killing me.

I am not on estrogen, but when I was on BCP in the day when they were considered "high dose," I experienced occasional twinges like that. After reading about blood-clot issues/strokes with estrogen, I stopped taking them till they came out with the low-dose pills.
It may not be anything, but leg pain is usually a red-flag. Ask your doc. See if they can do a clotting factor or something to decide if HRT is still for you.
Better safe than sorry even if it turns out to be nothing ...

Best to you!
