i am 17 yrs old and i have been having some problems lately. when i try to talk to people it takes me a while to get what i want to say out. i stumble over words a lot. i have also had some bad stabbing pains mostly on the left side of my head and asprin really doesnt help...it actually makes it worse. i dont know if its connected, but ive had pains in my stomach on the left side also. its kinda gone away recently but if it helps. i have problem with numbers...kind of like dyslexia but just with numbers. i have a pretty bad short term memory and have trouble concentrating in school. i dont think the other things are serious...but im worried about the headaches. any help would be good right now. thanks!

First off, I would go to the doctor's just to be sure there is not annythig physically wrong. I would have an MRI of the head done just to be safe, but try not to worry too much. Often times thinking about your symptoms makes them worse. I have some anxiety issues that cause many of the symptoms that you describe. Stumbling on your words around people sounds like a social type of anxiety, but I have heard of some physical things that can cause the same problems. Go to the doctor, but make a list of your symptoms on paper so that you don't stumble or forget them when you are talking to him/her. I hope you get better! Keep us posted. (Also my headaches from anxiety were to the point that virtually nothing worked for them either)

Go see your doctor. Nothing more needs to be said.
