Hi Hopefully, yes. I am feeling a bit better. The brain fog has lifted. Some depression has lifted. It comes agian at times though. the anxiety is better. BUT!!! I went back to my generic paxil and cut it in half. The whole paxil and the Wellbutrin made me feel like I had drank 10 cups of coffee. I see my dr next friday. i am so tierd or see her. I feel my appetite picking up again. Yesterday I had the iternal jitters so bad. My heart rate was up etc. I had stopped taking my magnisium/calsium because I had some diarreah and I didnt pick it up again. I took the cal/mag supplement and in a matter in minutes the jitters were gone! Boy that supplement is the best! I know I need to go back to the paxil and I will before I go to the dr next friday. Thanks for asking. I will talk later more. My little guy is hammering for my attention right now!

It's good to hear that you are seeing improvement. I upped my Wellbutrin XL to 300mg once a day. Today was the first time that I've taken the 300mg. pill and it knocked me out. I was soooooooooo sleepy that I came home and almost fell asleep at the computer. Finally I layed down and took a long nap. Isn't it amazing how medications affect all of us differently? There are only a few people besides myself that I know of who become drowsy after taking Wellbutrin. What's interesting is that my doctor prescribed it because it's suppose to give me more energy.

Hopefully, I also was tired when taking the wellbutrin. I didn't take it very long. I'm trying lexapro again for now. But I just wanted to let you know I was also tired on the 300mg., tired and jittery, unfortunately. Does the wb not make you jittery? Hope you didn't mind I jumped on the thread.

Welcome american! The more the merrier! WB made me jittery and sleepy. I started taking it in the pm because it kind of blitzed me. but as it got into my system boy! I got so jittery. My pulse was up! I hated it! I think I am whimpy. I need low doses of this stuff.

American of course you can jump on :); we are all going along for this peri/meno. ride!

I've been taking the Wellbutrin XL 150mg for over a year and today is my second day taking the 300mg. Right now I could lay down and go to sleep, but I have things that I need to do before taking a nap :). Hopefully, since I started at the low dosage for over a year I won't have any side effect with the increase dosage. I'm also trying to see if it will lower my blood pressure. Although increased blood pressure is listed for just about all antidepressants I'm thinking that if I remain calmer my pressure should be lower.

I did not get the jitters with Wellbutrin matter of fact, if my memory is correct, it help eliminate the jitters went I first tried it back in 2003. It did not do much for that spacey, dizzy, lightheaded feeling that I dealt with 24/7 back then, but at least the internal shakes were gone.
