Hello, I was just curious about Beta blockers....do they seem to help nausea type feelings with anxiety? I sometimes get so anxious that I gag....I am wondering if Beta Blockers would prevent me from gagging? I understand the psychological feelings with anxiety may not go away but I think helping my body physically would lessen the anxiety over all.

No, beta blockers are hypertension medications for blood pressure. But many with Panic disorder are prescribed it due to its nature of lowering the heart rate, or have bad palpatations with their ongoing attacks/anxiety.
GERD is often comorbid with anxiety, I would look to research that area first for medication. Good Luck

beta blockers also reduce the physical problems from severe anxiety and can be taken only as needed
they should help with gagging if caused by anxiety, otherwise read up about GERD on the net, via a search engine
GERD usually causes a burning pain in the throat from the stomach acid
