i have ocd and i have a few ocd probs but this new prob you think its my ocd? remember im 32 yr old male and my brother was murdered-strangled in a hospital.ever since he was killed when i goto bed i always get thits eary feeling that someone is gonna come from behind me and obviously nobodys there but i feel weird i know its part of the trauma from my brother being murdered a yr ago but do you think that my ocd is kicking in more from that or triggering it to make it worse and once im iin bed im fine but i dont know i dont like it anybody have any ideas? i know i have ocd but u think this is part of the ocd and the trauma?should the lexapro im gonna be starting help with that does anyone know?anyone?

im very sorry to hear about what happened to you, it sounds like you have a post-traumatic stress issue - i would suggest seeing your healthcare professional for a full evaluation, and perhaps councelling.

i do goto counseling and im about to start lexapro for my ocd so i hope it helps with the post traumatic also.. thxs
