Anyone try the Special K challenge? Did it actually work for you? Just curious...

No, but nutritionally I'm confused about the Special K Challenge. This cereal is comprised mainly of white rice, gluten, and high fructose corn syrup. How can a product that is for the most part, sugar possibly be something you'd want to eat for 3 meals a day???? Blows my mind.

I believe the Special K challenge is to eat it for breakfast and lunch, not 3 times a day. I was just wondering, no need to lecture me. Geeze. I do eat right and exercise. I realize that I need to eat more than just cereal.

I do like the Special K red berries, but I couldn't eat it for 2 meals a day for weeks on end.

i agree with you both, even if it did work, you wouldn't be setting yourself with any good eating habits. you would gain the weight right back unless you eat special k the rest of you life. i don't think anyone would want to do that. try adapting a healthy lifestyle, i know it's easier said than done.....buy hey then you would never have to diet again...and you wouldn't have to deprive yourself of anything either. good luck with your goals!

Of course you will lose weight. If you use skim or 1% milk and ANY cereal with about 100 calories/cupful, you are on a low-cal diet.

But if I had only 2 cups of cereal all day, I'd be hungry as a bear and as miserable as one too.

And like all exclusionalry diets, it gets dead-dull FAST!

I tried it for 2 weeks but it was worthless. I wanted to loose those last few stubborn pounds- and I did, 7 of them - too bad it was all water weight! I know it was water because I was dehydrated all the time & yet still consuming massive amounts of water.

One thing I have found in wanting to loose actual weight, and not just water- is to switch up when u eat your big meals. My biggest meal of the day is Lunch (eaten around noon) & then I have a smaller dinner around 5pm(like a lunch portion). This way, your higher calories are consumed earlier in the day which gives you more time to burn it off. Hope that makes sense- it really helped kick those last few pounds.
