Im a junior in Highschool and my periods are still acting like they did back in the sixth grade. they are really heavy durring the day then at night they stop, this lasts like 4 days and then somtimes i will skip 1-2 months at a time! do you know whats happening????PLEASE HELP!!! cuz i'm worried it might be bad but i dont want to go to the doctor yet

Sorry I can't give you the answers you need Tigergirl. Is it possible for you to talk to your mom about this or maybe the health nurse at school if you're more comfortable with that? I believe the first few years of periods we have are kind of unpredictable due to hormone changes etc. If you are super stressed out that can cause you to miss a period. Or if you are not eating right. If you are having sex, definately get in to see a doc - if you are having sex, you should be having pap smears.
