Hi,

Since yesterday I have been in sever pain with my back teeth on the left hand side, i could hardly open my jaw and eating is especially painful.
I looked in a mirror today and there is like a hard bony lump about 1cm wide in the roof of my mouth, just inside and behind my back tooth, where my wisdom tooth is coming through, I have noticed this before but suddenly it is causing me a lot of pain, it looks like a big lump of bone. Does anyone have any idea what this is or what would be done to fix it? I am already petrified of dentists and have a lot of other health worries on my mind at the moment so any more stress is the last thing that i need! But i am willing to go and see the dentist if he can sort it out for me because it looks really horrible and is really painful!! :(

Could it possibly be that your wisdom tooth is coming in wrong??? I heard someone else on here say that one of their wisdom teeth came through the roof part of their mouth.

I hope you feel better soon.
