I've been on citalopram (generic for Celexa) for over a week and i'm beginning to see some differences. my general body aches and aching armpits have disappeared. The intensity of my worry is down. However I still feel tired. But then again I hear that citalopram can make you tired. Has anyone else seen good results using this medication.

Try taking the Celexa at bedtime to reduce the tired feeling during the day.

A friend of mine was on this and said that all the while she was on it she was her old self, she didn't experience side effects, she just didn't feel better until about 2 weeks of taking it, hold on in there only a little way to go til you feel yourself again.

Celexa worked great for me, but the sexual side effects were huge. I'm trying Wellbutrin right now but it does not seem to be as effective. I'd say Celexa is going to have to come back into play somehow.

Iv been taking Citalopram for 12 weeks now. i think they are great. I did feel really tired for the first month or so,but seem to be ok now. I was really worried about taking them, but i almost feel like my old self again. All my aches and pains have disappeared and i feel really happy
